Chris Morris

Communications Officer, Adirondack Foundation

Chris says...

“I love BluSeed. Knowing that my community has an inclusive, authentic space for art, music, and performance is important to me. It’s one of my second homes in Saranac Lake.”

Shamim Allen

Local Musician & Restaurateur, Fiddlehead Bistro

Shamim says...

“BluSeed Studio is such a valuable resource for anyone. When I first moved back to my hometown of Saranac Lake after an absence of 15 years, I was worried about how I could integrate back into small town life. Then I learned of this big blue warehouse that held concerts, art openings and hosted creative workshops. I took a chance, walked through the door and observed for a while. Upon seeing how friendly and supportive the regulars were, I started participating in the Open Minded Open Mic nights. Eventually, I solidified great friendships by taking a regular pottery class. I don’t think I would have felt at home nearly as quickly or know as many people as I do, if it weren’t for the acceptance of and my participation in the BluSeed community.”
