SARANAC LAKE, NY— BluSeed Studios, the multi-disciplinary arts center at 24 Cedar Street in Saranac Lake will host an opening reception for the exhibit “One Earth!” on Friday, June 7 from 5 to 7 PM.

According to BluSeed’s Artistic Director, Carol Vossler, “’One Earth!’ is an artistic interpretation of our one and only precious Mother Earth which will include all genres and artmaking media.”

Juror Corey Pandolph will be judging the show prior to the opening and monetary awards will be presented at the opening reception. Juror Pandolph has been an internationally syndicated cartoonist who has had work published regularly in Mad Magazine and The New Yorker. He has done onscreen work for Comedy Central and his storyboards have found a home at VH1, MOTR animation and the major motion picture MAPPLETHORPE. Most recently, Corey has concentrated his efforts on spray painting larger murals in urban areas as well as abstract acrylics on canvas. Corey splits his time between Rainbow Lake and New York City.

Other upcoming events this June at BluSeed Studios are Open-Minded Mic Night with host Josee Allard on Thursday, June 13 at 7:30 PM and a Pollinator Garden Community event on Saturday, June 15.
