Carol Marie Vossler
After attaining my Master of Fine Arts Degree at Syracuse University, I shared a studio in NYC for five years While in NYC, I learned first hand the “business of art” and created a strong networking bond with international artists as well as those from the United States.
I have been an exhibiting artist for thirty years; as a curator, I have facilitated six international exchanges, dozens of regional exhibitions and numerous studio art workshops for participants of all ages. I have been an Instructor of Art in higher education for eighteen years, five years as an adjunct at Plattsburgh State University and thirteen years at NCCC in Saranac Lake.
My teaching objectives are: to embolden critical thinking through research and class critiques; pedagogic projects whose ideals were to incorporate, social, science and or math aspects into the artwork; teach them how to become creative and informed decision makers using both divergent and convergent thought process as they planned their projects.
