Art Exhibition: Graphic Germination

Date: Opening March 4th 2011 6pm
Place: BluSeed Studios Gallery
Artists: Brooke Noble & John LaFalce

Bluseed Studios presents the 2011 Artist in residence exhibition, “ Graphic Germination” an exhibition showcasing Brooke Noble and John La Falce. The exhibition will feature a variety of mediums and installations. An artist reception will take place on March 4th, 2011 at 6pm.

After Brooke’s serendipitous introduction to Carol Vossler and Bluseed Studios in 2003, she has worked on and off within the Ceramics Studio, producing work, managing the space and teaching both Children’s and Adult workshops. She received her B.F.A. from Syracuse University and attended Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, Illinois for her M.F.A. Ceramics has taken Noble to many destinations both nationally and internationally. Highlights include kiln building at Good Hope Plantation in Jamaica and studying abroad in Oaxaca State, Mexico during Graduate School. Brooke’s work has been exhibited in many reputable galleries nationwide and most recently published in the HOME issue of Adirondack Life. Brooke’s work can be found locally at THE FRINGE on Main St. in Saranac Lake or check it out on-line @ thelocalfringe.com

John La Falce is a figurative artist working in several media who has had his work shown national and internationally throughout the past three years with work in both public and private collections. He arrived in Saranac Lake to help build the Bluseed Paper Mill and quickly became a fixture in the studio center due to his enthusiasm and dedication of sharing his knowledge of papermaking and fine art in general.
