BluSeed Studios is proud to present, Artist in Residence Bryan Osborn’s first exhibition titled “Finding my Name.” The featured work as explained by the artist will include: collage/graffiti/experimental/hip-hop/counter culture/dying breed. The exhibition will also include special collaborations with artist Ben Erb from Plattsburgh NY and Alex Giroux from Saranac Lake.
Bryan attended Plattsburgh State majoring in Audio Production as well as studying Photography. As his interest in music and hip-hop progressed, he left Plattsburgh to attend the Institute of Audio Research in NYC receiving a degree in Audio Engineering in 2006. He then landed a job working for Treehouse Studios in Long Island from 2006 to 2008. From there he moved to Kansas to be with his family but continued producing, engineering and mixing records for various artists.
Osborn states that he “found” interest for graffiti when he was fifteen and was influenced by artists from Montreal, Quebec as well as C-lock, Sake, HYH crew, KOPs Crew, Castro, and Omen. His list of influences also includes New York City writers Onorak, Ceo27, Jerk and SyneOne,
All are invited to an artist reception and opening on February 28th at 5pm. This fantastic exhibition, holding true BluSeed’s mission to provide space which allows artists to experiment and diverge with their ideas and work, is free and open to the public. The exhibition continues through April 5th. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday 1pm-5pm and 10am-5pm on Saturday, or by appointment.
