Echo
Prior to moving to the Adirondack region, Echo worked as a team building facilitator with schools and private corporations in the San Francisco Bay area. Parallel to this work, he led wilderness trips for at-risk youth with multiple outdoor education organizations including Outward Bound. During this time he also worked in the music industry focusing on event production and artist promotion. In 2007, Echo and his partner left San Francisco and built an off grid homestead and art retreat in the woods of Northern California. While there, they had two children and hosted a series of artist retreats called The Homestead Sessions. After 11 years of this adventure, the entire family moved to Brooklyn NY in 2018.
Echo and family moved to the Adirondacks in 2020 after purchasing an abandoned general store on 7 acres of land in the tiny hamlet of Onchiota, New York. They are developing this into an artist retreat and community center called The Station. The Station is an experimental art center dedicated to supporting creative culture. It is an experiment that is exploring how entrenched cultural belief systems in a semi isolated rural area can be influenced by introducing people to new forms of art and music. Echo’s current creative pursuits revolve around music production and creating large scale, interactive projection art installations.
